One of the newest trailers unveiled today was for 2D video game developer Vanillaware's upcoming DS title, Kumatanchi DS, showing off some of the gameplay and the glorious 2D graphics and animation.

Kumatanchi stars the girl dressed like a bear Kuma-tan, in a lifestyle sim that puts her in a zoo, where she helps the zoo caretaker take care of the other animals and put on shows with them. Doing the character designs is Shigatake, an amateur Japanese artist who designed Habanero-tan, the unofficial mascot of Bokun Habanero, who is a habanero personified as a young girl.

Kumatanchi DS is being published by dimple Entertainment. It is set to release sometime later this year in Japan, and will retail for 5040 yen. The official site for the game can be found here.
