Home Press Event Area Put To Use

It was just recently announced that Home got an update. This new update added a Press Event area where fans can see E3 and other events in the comforts of their Home. It was just put to use today during the Ubidays Event. Home Beta testers got to see the event through Home.

Yep, this is one feature I was hoping they'd use.

Just think about it, maybe the next E3 would feature something in HOME? Or at least the next Sony Gamer's Day or whatever...

Really bad quality videos but I like the potential of this. Considering how many developers are dumping E3 maybe it'll go all virtual?

Well if they get gamers to pay maybe £3 a day to access the game event through their PS3 then they can make the event worthwhile again without having all the clutter of the public... If people paid then you could see all the demo's they allow the press to play, to be online on the PS3 for people that paid to get into the event to download, there will be unique trailers and even online press conferences... This could revive failing events like E3.
