Top 10 Final Fantasy Games

A list that features 10 of the best Final Fantasy games ever released. The list begins with Final Fantasy XI game which is the MMORPG. Also whoever is thinking that Final Fantasy VII is No.1 think again. VII-VIII-IX these three games fail to get the No.1 position, even though I was expecting one of them to be No.1. I'm also completely surprised with the position Final Fantasy XII made.

GameDaily (owned by AOL) don't know what they're talking about. They love their top 10 lists but it's like one guy makes the lists and only goes by what he thinks.

Sorry GD but FFVII has a higher cult following to it than FFVI Advance...

Like Cruxis said, there's no way in hell VI advance is better than the PS1 titles. FFVII should be in the top 3 if not #1. FFVIII should be in the top 5. Hah, you can tell that they don't know shit with XI in the top ten.

  A good few of us have played the old games. FFI and FFII were not the best...I admit that VI deserves to be in the top three as well, but look where they placed Tactics...and just how the hell is FFV in third place? I loved FFXII, but that got mixed reactions, and I'd put it in my top five, but not top three.

    Tactics is the worst excuse for a strategy game. There are far better games, i.e. Disgaea. As a Final Fantasy fan, Tactics should have never been conceived.

I agree with storm, FFVII is probably the best there was.. i would have put it at number 1.. this was probably written based on a handful of people who did not do their homework on the games..

I would think FFVII would be in the top 3 (even though it isn't in mine. FFVII would for sure be in the top 5 at least. FFVI is a great game, so I believe it should be number 1 or 2. Overall, the list is crap though.

Final Fantasy VII is... A decent RPG, really. It probably would never have gained the same popularity if it had been the VIII installment. This is because many gamers first contact with RPGs was with VII and therefore it is valued higher.

I can't understand how XII got that placing either. Although I agree with VI Advanced being ranked the highest.
