New Final Fantasy XIII Screens Released, Including A Lol-Worthy Translation

Square Enix have released eight new English Final Fantasy XIII screenshots, one of which has a rather interesting subtitle.
"You want to keep breathing? Shut Up And Come Quiet" sure brings back memories of Final Fantasy VII and it's strange translations!

We most likely won't have to worry about too many odd translations. The Tokyo Game Show trailer had decent enough English.

I'd say it has something to do with that piss accent.

It's probably supposed to sound ridgy-didge, but not too ridgy-didge. I mean, they couldn't very well have her say "OI MATE. SHUT YER *bleep*ING MOUTH."

But I wish they had. ;;

  I've heard people shorten it like that (It makes me cringe every time. XD). Mostly bogans... but that might be what Squeenix are going for. She kinda looks bogany, what with the whole unbrushed-hair-skank-clothes-too-much-makeup-and-tattoo look.
