New Afrika Screens! Welcome To Afrika!

Linkin Park Fan | June 06, 2008 | Screenshots | Playstation 3
Some brand new screenshots that bring Afrika into your living room. After under wraps for a while, the gameplay has been reaveled. It is a photography game where you have to travel through the african savannah to grap the perfect picture. Either by foot, on top of a tree, in a jeep or in the air. What ever it takes.

The game will be realising in august in Japan and a price point around $40. So if the game does release in other regions, hopefully it won't be a full priced game. Click the link to view the whole batch of pictures.

I never stated or thought that game was ever good, but im pretty sure its more entertaining than going to a savannah and taking pics of wild animals.

Graphics are pretty bad too. Looking out across the savannah, the repeating area textures are murder. Lots of blurry lines, too; the animal models look too smooth, as well.

If it's gonna be a photography game, why doesn't it look good?

Pretty sweet graphics if you ask me, ground textures aren't great but the rest is sweet

And Final Blade just because its a photography game doesn't mean its lame.

If I was into these types of games, I'd get Afrika. I think it looks alright and it's an interesting concept too.
People are so negative about a photography game. This is exactly why people get put off Fatal Frame... "eww, cameras! How boring! Where's the gun?". pfft.

I think it could be a relatively interesting game, but I wouldn't even pay $40 for it. Maybe $30 at most, but even that seems much for a game where you basically go around and snap pictures. But again it could still be a bit interesting.

I'd take it on the 360.

Yeah, I'd consider buying it if it were cheaper too. I enjoyed Pokemon Snap and there wasn't much more to that game than taking photos. If Afrika has somehow "upgraded" that idea then I reckon it'd be interesting. (though I also wouldn't be willing to pay $40 for it.)

Well from the trailer when they showed off that menu and everything, seems like you can do a lot more then just take photos.

Did you just say you wouldn't pay that much for it on PS3, but if it were on 360, you'd buy it regardless?
