Penny Arcade's Gabe on Assassin's Creed

Xenctuary | November 17, 2007 | Reviews | PC XBOX 360
In a reaction to mixed reviews from the media, Penny Arcade's Mike "Gabe" Krahulik has posted a few words about the recently released PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 title Assassin's Creed, detailing exactly why he thinks gamers will ultimately find it an enjoyable experience.

There are about four or five reviews of the game with scores in the low to mid 7's. I want to cover some of the common complaints these reviewers had in case anyone out there is worried about them.

Wow, that was very informative and sounded very sincere. Reading through that to the very end, I can now understand why the review were mediocre, because Assasin's Creed is a game that should not be played with a deadline, which reviewrs have. Hearing it from Gabe himself, whom I trust, it makes alot of sense when he put himself in their shoes.

I really agree with this guy. I have had this game for 3 days now and I have only assassinated one major person. Other time I was just messing around and getting flags and saving citizans.

Yes but its like every game that gets released. No game should be rushed just that you can make a deadline. And I bet they do it all the time with PS3 titles which is why most biased sites lower it down in rating. Not to say they don't with 360 games but thats how i figured it. But nonetheless i agree with Gabe but at the end of the day just shows you this game was the shit not bad as everyone is making it out to be.

I think i can understand the high ratings gamespot gave for the PS3 its cause they actually played the game, not rushed it.
