It's Monday once more, and another three games were added to the North American Wii Shop Channel today, with two new WiiWare games and one Virtual Console game coming onto the service.
The first WiiWare title is Taito's Space Invaders Get Even, where you get to take control of those lovable space invaders as they get revenge on the earthlings for the atrocities committed against them years ago. Control an Invader UFO and take command of the Space Invaders as you destroy buildings and battle against the Earth's defense forces. Keep track of your high scores with a global online leaderboard via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. You can also download more stages and more ships to use via the game's downloadable content.
The other WiiWare game is Pit Crew Panic! from Hudson Entertainment. You and up to three other players take control of a legendary all-female pit crew that are tasked not only with fixing vehicles, but various other objects called WHATSIT in order to get them back out onto the track as quick as possible.
The lone Virtual Console game this week is Metal Slug 2 for the NeoGeo. Originally released in 1998, it is the second installation in the vaunted run-and-gun arcade series, with Marco ROssi and Tarma Roving returning once more alongside new recruits Fiolina Germi and Eri Kasamoto against General Morden's new Rebellion Army. The series' weapons system makes its first appearance in this game, along with the ability to be mummified and become obese.
