It's a new Monday, and three more games make their way to the Wii Shop Channel in North America. This week, we get word of ports are in progress of an incredibly well-done GBA series, along with more entries in popular series.
The first WiiWare game is Art Style: ORBIENT, which is brought to WiiWare by Nintendo. This is an upgraded version of bit Generations: Orbital, which was for the original GBA; it was a part of the bit Generations series, which brought great gameplay with simple controls and graphics. In Orbital, you will control the smallest star in the solar system, and must switch between gravity and anti-gravity to absorb other stars or begin to have satellites, and steadily become the largest object in the system. However, you will have to watch out for obstacles and black holes strewn about. There will be 50 different levels, 10 more than the 40 in the GBA game.
The other WiiWare game is Bomberman Blast brought to you by Hudson. Take your Bombing online as Bomberman Blast's main draw is that multiplayer supports up to eight players at one time through the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Take a shot and see if you're the best in the world, with a ranking system keeping track of the world's records. Boasting simple controls but that same tried-and-true Bomberman gameplay, the game remains a blast to play.
The lone Virtual Console game this week is Super Turrican 2 for the SNES. Boasting Metroid-like exploration, it is regarded as one of the better games for the SNES. Defeat enemies with the multitudes of weapons that are at your disposal, and make your way through each level to save the galaxy.
