Giant GTA IV Murals Take Over LA

Vito Raliffe | April 22, 2008 | Pictures | Playstation 3 XBOX 360
Going full force with the advertising of Grand Theft Auto IV, Rockstar must have spent some good money to have these giant murals placed on the side of the Hotel Figueroa in Los Angeles. I mean, c'mon!
Rockstar has been spending big bucks on GTA IV advertisements lately, and with the release date just a week away, a brand new mural has appeared in Downtown Los Angeles. Possibly the largest GTA IV mural to date, the massive paintings are located on the side of the Hotel Figueroa at the corner of Figueroa St. and Olympic Blvd.

We both think video games are fine too.....it's not our opinion driving these controversies. There are plenty of people who will take offense of her licking a lollipop and label it as sexual in content.

Thats their problem not ours. I don't see how it references to anything. You can make anything look like a sexual content. People just have too much time on their hands imo.

I'm surprised they've went ahead and done these considering the whole bus thing in New York(I think it was).

    Unbelievably massive though

Now that's how a game should be seriously promoted, good on them for going to an extent to do that.

Plus those images are freaking awesome too, that looks sick.

Godamn, now THAT is what I call advertisement. Though I do not believe the franchise needs any kind of help with ads...especially like these...the mere words "Grand Theft Auto" has the public talking about the game and not the actual legal term.

That's interesting...I just wrote that down for my Psychology research paper, subject looks straight at the sexually appealing woman and immediatelly believes it will be controversial...but says nothing about the menacing looking guys.
