Metal Gear Selleck 4

tekmosis | April 07, 2008 | Pictures | Playstation 3 Misc
80's TV hunk, Tom Selleck, known for such hit shows as Magnum P.I. has an uncanny resemblance to Konami's, Solid Snake. A user by the name of Brianemone has done a MGS4 coverart with Mr. Selleck. I have to admit, it looks pretty cool. I know i'd play it. Where can I get my hands on MGSelleck 1 through 3? Enjoy the boxart!

    Ehhhhhh, somewhat amusing. But really, this is more of a forum discussion thing, than a news thing.

    It just seems like a gimmie for points, more than anything, IMO >_>

    Boxart DOES look pretty good though, actually.

      tallteen, all you do is complain about articles. I keep telling you, if this was news it'd be labeled as such. Take a look at what it's categorized as, pictures, not news. Perhaps you should start contributing "news" rather than criticizing

      @Seproth,
      Just so you know, I'm not a participant in the contests. I give out the prizes on GameGrep, not win them.

        I just don't really see much a point to this. I don't hate it or anything. I just feel 'gamegrep' should be used exclusively for 'news', instead of stuff like this. Stuff like this is well suited for forums....But that is just me.

        It is mildly amusing, if nothing else.

        This is better than some of the junk I've seen, since this at least has a good boxart >_>

        And me, contribute news? No way, I'm too lazy to contribute stuff fast enough to beat the people who are scouring the net all the time >_> I'm always slow to get news, it seems >_>

    That's too awesome. The only problem is it could never work in a movie or anything because once he opens his mouth you'd lose the illusion completely.

    I'm still fond of the guy who played Dilios in 300. When he gets his eye cut and puts on the bandanna the resemblance is uncanny.

    LOL! Tom Selleck sure looks a lot like it.
    I first thought Snake looked more like Dick van Dyke, but Tom Selleck sure looks just like him with that moustache.

      Its faint but there is one, although to be honest i agree, looks more like the mustache than anything else.

    Aww. I must admit, I was expecting an image that looks a little more like Snake.
    I'm sure there are other actors out there who look more like Snake. Heck, David Hayter himself looks alot like Snake (younger Snake, obviously)
