1up brings us several classic characters recreated using the Soul Calibur 4 character creation mode. From He-Man, Lion-O, even down to Bruce Lee and Raiden, you will certainly be able to recognize some of these familiar faces.

Even Ronald McDonald makes an appearance, along side popular gaming favorites such as Mario, Phoenix Wright, Dante, and Auron and Tidus from FFX!

Soul Calibur 4 is one of the most respected names in the fighting genre, and the latest installment packs a feature-rich character creator alongside the regular roster. Like Spore before it, this has set off a flurry of gamers paying homage to some of their favorite characters from films, comic books, movies, and games. Even our own Jason Bertrand from GameVideos got in on the act, creating M. Bison, Shrek, and Tobias Funke among others:

Let me be the first to say - the Spore Creature Creator doesn't have anything on the SC4 Character Creator.

I envision we will be seeing even more of these as time goes on.

  haha...well, I don't know about that one. Spore does have 2.5mil+ creatures and you can pretty much find *anything* (creature wise) there.

Haha, Soul Calibur IV looks like a good game. That Phoenix Wright guy caught my attention. I've seen him somewhere else before.

SCIV's character creation system is pretty amazing. Harry Potter's face looks exactly like Daniel Radcliffe's. I'd have to say that Mario and Ronald McDonald were pretty disturbing though. :S

  Hopefully DLC will bring more to this mode. I found SCIII to be jam-packed with clothes and such, whilst SCIV, though more 'real,' is lacking.
  
  Still, what I've seen thus far has been pretty sweet. What sucks is when these character's armors break off...

Has anyone made a SC4 Sephiroth yet becuase i'm still lookin for one of him. But these do look good.Wright looks the best in these though.
