My Playstation 2 Writes On Paper...

Krunal | September 10, 2007 | Other | Playstation 2
My Playstation 2 can write on Paper, can yours? Well if you recycle it, it may very well write on Paper. It turns out that people in China that are leaving their Playstation 2's for the Playstation 3 (or the XBOX360/Wii), and having their console recycled are in effect turning their PS2's into Ballpoint Pens as the image below shows.

Most definitely an Environmentally friendly of recycling the console, that's for sure.

DISCLAIMER: I'VE NOT ACTUALLY RECYCLED MY PS2, AND AS SUCH IT DOESN'T ACTUALLY WRITE ON PAPER...YET

WTF...how can your PS2 turn into a pen when recycled. Also how do you get the pen or is it automatic.

It's simple, the plastic from the PS2 is recycled to make the pen casing, not that big a deal. In fact, I am made of 100% recycled material ;-)

Neo is made of 100% recyclable material. And I want a pen like that they look cool yet a little "Wtf". I wonder how much they cost. Probably as much as a PS2 itself for all I know.

Try probably 2 pennies to manufacture. Honestly, they're not going to be expensive just because they were made form PS2 plastic, *bleep*ing hell, plastic is plastic.

Well you COULD gut the electronics out of a Gamecube and use it as a lunchbox/carrying case...
