Best XBLA launches

chautemoc | May 27, 2008 | News | XBOX 360
Penny Arcade recently posted a list of the most successful Xbox Live Arcade launches. The list includes only the Xbox 360, and works with a 3-day launch window. Apparently their title - Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, Episode One - had the third most successful launch. Not bad, guys! Also great to see Rez can still hold its own.
#1 RezHD, 25k units
#2 Ikaruga, 22.5k units
#3 PAA Episode 1, 16.5k units
#4 N+, 13k units

Given that our price point was double the other games on that list I'm pretty *bleep*ing happy. We fully expected some people to complain about the $20 price tag but we honestly felt like our game was worth it.

Rez HD, Ikaruga and N+ are all so original and are undeniably great to play. Hopefully Penny Arcade's foray into gaming industry holds the same level of quality.

Right. But honestly, they should just put all these games in one cart.
