Wilbz | May 22, 2008 | News | Wii XBOX 360
Another magazine today has claimed that there will be a new Xbox360 motion controller, just like the Wii. Also the 360Mii project has been claimed to be real. Are Microsoft impressed by the Wii? Also how will big nintendo fans act to being robbed of there console?
Another magazine has piped up to claim that the Xbox 360 motion controller 'Newton' is real, making the 360 Wii Remote look even more likely to be the real deal.

In its latest issue, Xbox World 360 reports that its own sources have "confirmed" that both the 360 motion contoller and Rare-helmed Xbox 360 'Mii' project are real, and will be out before the end of the year.

"All is fair and love is war".

Fact is every company copies things others do. Remember MS copied the Dualshock and added it to the xbox 1, since PS2 had it?
Remember Sony added a similar Motion control to its PS controller?

Well now they're doing the same with the Wii. The only real question is will it sell and be as good or better to the Wii mote?

Bull. They need to at least wait for their next system before copying Ninty.

It'll look better, of course. I guess Microsoft's Miis will look like real humans, too. Wait, can't call them Miis. I'll call them Xiis (X - M + X = Xii). Downloadable Chuck Norris Xiis. lol, Xiis.

Seriously, you can't really call it stealing ideas. Not like it was Nintendo's in the first place, but if it's a good concept and sells well then it's going to catch on with competitors. Besides, nobody really cried when Sony implemented the rumble technology based off the rumble pack, and now it's become an industry standard.

Psh, since when did Nintendo "own" motion sensing. It is a good feature that every console should add. That is like yelling at a company for having rumble or putting in analog sticks. Psh, please.

It could become good if Microsoft set it up right. Just imagine Halo with the Wii remote, how good would that be. That's what Microsoft are trying to do.

No one said they owned motion control. i said they could at least wait for the next Xbox before trying this.

Bet it costs $100 to pay for it anyways since the Wiimote costs 40, Microsoft likes to jack the prices up expect around that price.

The Wiimote only costs...*gasp* an astonishingly high $12! Time magazine did a report on the Wii when it was released and they computed the cost for each component of the Wiimote and that's what it came out to be. So yep, Nintendo's making a cool 30 bucks every time you buy a Wiimote.

Yes I know that much. But Microsoft tends to overprice at a higher rate than Nintendo because teens and older have more money than 7 year olds buying games.
