Uwe Boll now wants to make a GTA IV movie

Uwe Boll certainly is aiming for the big fish, now he wants to make a GTA movie. He also manages to slander Michael Bay and Brett Ratner while he claims he is the perfect guy for the movie. Will those million signatures hurry up already!

"Grand Theft Auto would be super interesting for me, and I think I would actually be the right guy to do it, because my movies are all bloody and violent and I don't have a problem with action scenes," said Boll. "But look, they will go, in the end, with a Michael Bay or a Brett Ratner, and it will be a PG-13 movie made for $150 million. I think it would be better to make a $30 million, very hard, brutal movie without compromising, but I'm not optimistic."

When are hollywood going to give up on videogame movies? They've tried valiantly but it just doesn't work. The first Resident Evil was tolerable but everything else I've seen that has been adapted from a game has sucked hard.

Don't worry. It'll be in development hell if it even gets picked up. Nobody is going to want a GTA movie, especially if it's based off of an actual game. It just ruins it.
