Skies of Arcadia 2 seems entirely possible

As before, German fansite SEGA ON seems to have been given a tidbit of information from a source at SEGA regarding a sequel to Skies of Arcadia. Word has it it will be confirmed in the relatively near future, as early as the Tokyo Game Show (October 9-12).
The website, SEGA ON, claims to have reliable Sega insider information on Skies 2, stating that it will be announced as early as the Tokyo Game Show, and is planned primarily for the Wii, although there is talk of a Playstation 3 version as well.

Speculation of the game's existence was recently stirred when it showed up on the listings for SEGA Gamers Day 2008, so this rumor has some strength to it.

    Yes please. I love Skies of Arcadia, I wonder if you would get to play as the characters from the first game, or a new set.

    The first game was so awesome and we've been teased with rumors of a sequel for years, but they never come into fruition. Please let THIS rumor be true!
