Is it just me, or is it really weird to see FF on a Microsoft console?

I think it's the only FF on the 360 console. Sweet box art, though I don't like P2P games (this is P2P isn't it? :S).

I'm seriously considering getting this now that it is all bundled together. Does anyone here play it? Is it worth getting?

      Isn't this for the PC?

If this is a good game, I might consider getting it as well, although I have never been good with MMORPGs

That would be pretty stupid if its only on the 360. I hope it comes to the PS3. Just cause i didn't get a chance to play the PS2 version considering the price per month.

Meh, I've played it on the PC and I thought it was alright. I wished they could have done a few things differently. Much better than WoW though, but then again I hate WoW with a passion.

I played FFXI from the day it was released until a year after that. Then I wandered aimlessly trying to find another MMO to call home, and landed on WoW.

FFXI, in my opinion, is dated. Compared to WoW, there is an insane amount of grind, horrible quests, too much time spent on trying to create a party (taking 3-4 hours to find a White Mage was not unheared of), complete lack of soloing (impossible pretty much from level 14 and onward, at least in my day), and many other immense flaws.

Perhaps they have corrected some of these issues. But I still say it isn't worth the trouble. Wait for AoC or WAR to come out.

I've been a player of FFXI for about 5 years, then quit just recently due to the fact I have no more time for the game. WoW is just too easy and simple for me. And personally, I thought WoW was nothing but a child's game compared to FFXI. I found FFXI to be the perfect MMO. I enjoyed the challenge, and managed to get up to 4 Lv. 75 jobs, and pretty much get all the gear I wanted in the world. However, that was one reason I quit. Once Igot everything I've wanted, I really didn't have much interest in the game anymore.

Once you geta 75 job, tha is when the real fun starts. As for soloing shit, that's probably because you had a bad job for soloing. As a 75 Blue Mage I can solo some incredibly tough shit. It actually requires skill to solo stronger monsters.
