Star Ocean remakes landing on North American PSPs?

Square Enix has registered trademarks for both subtitles and now Gamefly
has listed both games with a holder date of September 30th. Could we be
seeing Star Ocean remakes soon?

We’ve been waiting to hear something official about Star Ocean: First Departure and Star Ocean: Second Evolution in North America. Square Enix registered trademarks for both subtitles in North America, but that’s about it. Out of the blue Gamefly is listing both games with a placeholder September 30th release date. We’re probably not getting both PSP Star Ocean remakes on the same day, but this is the first sign of them.

StarOcean remakes would be wonderful. I never got a change to play the originals, so this would be a great way to experience them.

Geez, first Dragon Quest, now this. Those trademark guys are letting everything slip by.

Maybe they can slip the subtitle for DQ IX soon.
