High Voltage Software announces "Animales de la Muerte"

twilightprince | 22 days 5 hours ago | News | Wii
Today, High Voltage Software has announced yet another Wiiware game, called "Animales de la Muerte". Think of the game as a cross between Viva Pinata and Resident Evil. The object of the game is to save the zoo by killing as many zombie-animals as you can, while rescuing the animals still unaffected by the outbreak.

The developer has not yet set a price point for Animales de la Muerte, and currently, the studio is gunning for a September launch date.
It all starts "down in Mexico," where the Valle De La Sol Public Zoo, run by the charismatic geezer Don Eduardo Mendoza, has found itself in crisis mode. The animals -- elephants, monkeys, warthogs, and walruses, to name a few -- have begun dying only to be reborn as flesh-eating zombies. High Voltage elaborates, "Now, wandering freely through the zoo, the rotting beasts are no longer content with eating visitor scraps they get tossed into their cages -- instead they prefer to eat the whole visitor."

You take on the role of characters Marco and Maria Mendoza, Don Eduardo's weapon-proficient grandchildren, and bring the fight back to the animals -- the zombified ones, anyway. While the two will use a variety of powerful guns and items to mutilate the walking dead, they will also carry with them nets in order to capture and save the animals still unaffected by the outbreak.

So much for those amazing graphics huh? This looks like any other Wii game. Pathetic. Don't try and fool yourselves, this looks no where near as good as that tech demo they showed. It just goes to show you that tech demos mean jack until you actually have to create a game.

Lmao dude. Stop and think before you leave a comment.

First of all, the tech demo they showed is for actual Wii games. This is NOT an actual Wii game. It's a downloadable WiiWare game, and WiiWare games have a 40MB limit. There's only so much you could do with 40MB.

The Conduit is the actual Wii game that will be using the Quantum3 engine ... NOT this game.

      So relax yourself.
