Metal Gear Online beta up on PSN a day early!

Shocked aye? Well it was meant to come out on April 17th, but it's up for download today.

Sadly though you can't play it until April 21st, but since it is out right now, why not download the 741MBs right now.

Here's a bit of a shocker to everyone waiting for the Metal Gear Online beta: we all thought we'd get to download it on the 17th of April, but for some reason, that's not the case. As it stands, the download is now available over the PSN. A day earlier than expected.

The download is 741MB, so that shouldn't take a whole lot of waiting to get. Sadly, though, you won't be able to play it just yet. We all still have to wait for the 21st of April to sneak up on enemies and give them cans of butt-kick CQC-style.

Those with Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots pre-order will get the headstart on the beta testing phase. MGS4 goes out with the MGO Starter Pack on the 12th of June exclusively for the PlayStation 3.

  How many digits are in your code? There have been problems with two being missing. There should be four digits at the end instead of two, making for a total of twelve.

Thats what we call being lazy, Final Blade.

And no, iLLmatic. I was able to download it just fine. Its just this damn update thats taking forever. But hey, atleast I got it. No problem. I didn't even have to strain myself and make another PSN account like some other characters around these boards seem to think you need to do.

Damn I was at work all day. I'm installing GT5 Prologe off the disc right now. I'll have to download this though immediately after it's done.

Can you start up the beta just not get into any games?
