Singstar Vol. 2 announced

Singstar has grown rapidly. When it was first released on the PS2 it had little going for it but a unique premise, but over time the franchise has rapidly grown to have a fanbase rivaling that of Guitar Hero. And the next installment is only going to be better when it arrives this Summer titled Singstar Vol. 2. Details and new features are explained below.
SCEE’s announced SingStar Vol. 2, and it sounds like a substantial update.

The next disc-based instalment in the karaoke franchise will include Remote Play functionality, 30 new tracks on the disc - including music from The Killers, Eminem and Gorillaz - and a new harmony duet mode.

Press release after the link. There doesn’t look to be a date in there, unfortunately.

Cool, I never tried Singstar, but I played vocals on Rock Band a few times, and enjoyed it. I also saw quite a few songs that I liked on the Singstar song list, it's too bad it's only for PS3 though, I wouldn't buy that piece of junk if I had 1 million dollars.
