Gran Turismo 5 Prologue dominating European sales charts

Guticb | April 14, 2008 | News | Playstation 3
After selling one MILLION preorders for Gran Turismo 5: Prologue, you would think that sales for the game wouldn't be this immense. The game is currently dominating the European sales charts. It is currently only getting beaten by Guitar Hero 3 (PS2) and only in Sweden.
According to Spanish sales data for the week ended April 6, the Polyphony Digital developed racer was followed by Wii Play, God of War: Chains of Olympus and the PSP and Wii versions of Pro Evolution Soccer 2008

In Germany, GT5 Prologue held off competition from Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath, Brain Training, Mario & Sonic at the Olympics and Wii Play.

In a top ten that included four PC titles, the PS2 version of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock again took the No1 spot in Sweden. Gran Turismo 5 Prologue placed second, while two SingStar and two World of Warcraft games made the top ten.
