JACK ATTACK: Possible lawsuit over God of War shooting

Thompson's back... Again.

In an e-mail sent to GamePolitics last night, Jack Thompson has claimed that there's a possible lawsuit pending over the God of War shooting that was reported on by various media outlets, but which GP chose not to cover because they didn't see a direct link to the game.

It seems as though Jack Thompson might, however. Due to confidentiality concerns he's not saying anything. Yes, I know, it's a miracle; Thompson's actually playing by the rules. However, the circumstantial evidence all points to the God of War case.

I guess we'll have to wait for Thompson to slip up and let it out before we know for sure...
Troy is recovering from his wounds, but apparently has lost much of his eyesight. Although some gaming sites reported the news at the time, GamePolitics opted not to cover the story as the linkage to God of War seemed peripheral.

So this means Jack is filing the lawsuit via another lawyer? I was under the impression the Florida Bar revoked his rights to create lawsuits himself and that he had to go through another lawyer to do so.

If this is the case, who is the lawyer he's using?

Actually tekmosis, the Florida Supreme Court revoked his rights to file anything in the state of Florida without the signature of another attorney. The way I read this, he's filing it in Texas, where he can still fight the case.
