ESRB releases game rating widget!

Avalith | April 01, 2008 | News | Company
Have you ever wondered what a new game's rating is, but can't be bothered to check around online or call your local game store and find out? Well now you can find out by simply going to your desktop!

The ESRB has released a widget that can be placed on your desktop or website that allows you to search their database for game ratings. They allow you to customize the color scheme, size, and language of the widget to help webmasters find a way to include it on their site without sticking out like a sore thumb.
The ESRB rating search function is the most popular feature on our website. Parents and others use it to check the ratings of computer and video games so they can make informed decisions about which games are appropriate for their children and family. By offering this feature on your personal web page, you are making it more convenient for visitors to your or your friends’ web pages to be informed about the games they may consider renting or buying.

I just don't see why anyone would put this on a blog. But who knows, I'm probably wrong.

To demonstrate how it works or for blogs that review video games so people can do a quick search of that game's rating.
