Everyone knows that racing games have great soundtracks. Well for the Grand Turismo faithful here is the full list of songs that will feature in the GT5 Prologue Soundtrack. Its a very diverse and interesting mix that should please all gamers.
Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) today announced the details of the North American soundtrack for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. The songs in the game will be a mix of indie dance rock, electronica, classic rock and new remixes by artists such as Weezer, Mars Volta and DJ Shadow. The game will also feature a new version of the Gran Turismo theme song Moon Over The Castle.

"The Gran Turismo 5 Prologue soundtrack gives fans the perfect audio accompaniment to high-octane racing from Daytona to Eiger Nordwand," said Jeff Reese, director, software marketing, SCEA. "The edgy variety of music complements the pure adrenaline rush fans experience as they eclipse 200 miles-per-hour in the most authentic driving simulator around."

Eh, Grand Turismo 4 was pretty amazing. Didn't know that they would be producing another sequel to it.

Are you kidding? A sequel? It's a racing game. It's hard to even call them sequels, there's no storyline. It's just a successor. A revamped version of the previous game.

I don't know how you do not expect a "sequel."

Exactly, with the fantastic new hardware of the PS3 Polyphony would have been mad NOT to take advantage. Gran Turismo has always been one of Sony's stalwart exclusive titles, there is no way they would end the series.

If a game is a success there is bound to be another even if it is a complete new story. Just look at MGS, FF and Halo for such examples of that.

Either way I dont mind a bit of Weezer so hopfully there will be mroe then just the one track by them =D
