In a mall in eastern Japan a man had stabbed 8 random people causing seven to be severely injured and one to meet death on his way to the hospital.

The authorities said that violent crimes are rare in Japan that only the Yakuza crime syndicates perform them. Now street violence is up 4.6 percent since the start of 2007, according the National Police Agency's latest crime report.

The stabber was a winner in the Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball tournament a couple of years back. Japanese evening news have decided that the man learnt the humans weak point from playing fighting games such as Dead or Alive since most of the victims were stabbed in the neck.

According to the police, the stabber said:

I just wanted to see what it was like to kill. It could have been anyone.

Nothing to do with Dead or Alive, especially with Xtreme Volleyball which I doubt is considered much of a game anyways...

In any case, eye for an eye, it would've been nice for someone to stab the moron back; "THIS IS WHAT IT FEELS LIKE, YOU SICK *bleep*"

Well this seems kind of slanted..
Anyway, what kind of DOA Beach Volleyball fan kills people? I'd much rather play the game, myself.

Also, you should put something game-related in the headline..at first I thought the news was misplaced.

They said he learned the body's weak points by playing a game.

Who needs a game to tell you that the stomach is easier to stab than, say, the knee?

    LOL, noobz.

I hate how people blame these types of things on video-games. es there may be a small connection where they appear to be playing out the game in real life, but at the end of the day, it's down to the fact that these people are deeply mentally disturbed.

Normal people don't go about killing people just because they've done it on their Xbox.

I hate it when people blame these types of things on video-games. Yes there may be a small connection in that they appear to be plaing out scenes in real life, but at the edn of the day it's down to the fact that these people are seriously mentally disturbed.
