The XBL marketplace doesn't even have a C2 demo yet.
In any case, I was gonna buy Condemned 2 anyways, but I might as well download the demo as soon as I can.
Console FPS FTL definitely. It's why all console FPS, especially those on PS3, should allow mouse and keyboard support.
More buttons besides running, crouching, reloading, and shooting? I see a lot more context sensitive events here that probably use more buttons than a FP game would normally use.
The whole point of a context sensitive button is to use ONE button to do multiple things based upon the CONTEXT (meaning the situation) present.
With a keyboard you could still have a context sensitive button, I mean *bleep*, a USE key is a context sensitive button. It's how I open doors and go up ladders in Condemned 1 on PC. It's not like I have one button for going up ladders and another for opening doors, and yet another for closing doors.
What I was talking about was along the lines of "Grab a weapon with a button, block attacks with another button, swing the weapon in different directions with different buttons, etc." I don't believe Condemned uses that kind of layout anyways, but it's just an example.
Remind me, but isn't the controller more compact to make all available buttons on the controller POSSIBLE to be used with ease? Unlike a keyboard in which is scattered? Wouldn't it make sense that you only use one key so you wouldn't have to use any other key in the first place?
Quick time events are the events seen in God of War. Context sensitive buttons are along the lines of the X button in Resident Evil 4. It does everything except run and shoot.
If I'm on the edge of my seat from the demo alone, im sure the full game is going to be great for horror fans.
Also, the combat is PHENOMENAL! Much improved, very organic and the combo system works very well. I love how you have to press the two top shoulder buttons to grab a guy and then you can throw him into stuff. Freaking awesome. And fighting hand to hand is great too, I love how it goes into a quicktime event to do so. Very visceral. Very cool.
Why do all the good things come out when I'm away from my PS3 >_
I heard Pain was in the UK store, that's the only one I'm looking forward to getting.
