Jack Sues Florida Bar (Again)

Avalith | March 05, 2008 | News | Misc
Florida Lawsuits, Episode XXXX: Jack Thompson v. Florida Bar.

While this is starting to become truly pathetic, Thompson's sued the Bar yet again, though this time it's for forcing its alleged ideology on Florida attorneys, which is no doubt stemming from his various legal battles with his frivolous lawsuits in the past.

The good news from this story? The ruling on his recent disciplinary trial has been confirmed to be due out next month.
Controversial Miami attorney Jack Thompson has filed a new federal lawsuit against the Florida Bar. It’s at least his fourth such case since late 2006. To tell you the truth, we’ve lost count.

None of those earlier actions against the Bar were successful. In fact, GamePolitics readers will likely recall the legal train wreck that was Thompson’s most recent case before Judge Adalberto Jordan.

It's difficult to imagine what he'll do next, he's done so many ridiculous things that there's no telling what's going through his head. If the disciplinary ruling goes against him, no doubt Jack will blame it on the judge playing the latest Phoenix Wright game or something.

I think it's Jack that should be playing Phoenix Wright, not the judge.

What's next? Is he going to go after E rated games like the Mario series for "cartoon violence". This guy is truly pathetic!

I would expect an appeal if things go against him. He's tenacious and fight to the bitter end. It's a sickness that he has no control over, it controls him. Once he exhausts all legal options he more than likely move to another state and continue his "crusade". Expect to see Thompson for years to come.
