LEGO Batman Wii lacks online co-op multiplayer?

Amongst a number of new gameplay details relating to the upcoming Traveller's Tales-developed LEGO Batman: The Videogame, it seems as if the Nintendo Wii might yet again fall flat on the online front in comparison to its counterparts on PS3 and Xbox 360. Nintendo's latest console was not included when the inclusion online co-operative missions for the title were mentioned.
In a meeting during last month’s Game Developers Conference to discuss the latest franchise to get a videogaming makeover in LEGO form, developer Traveller’s Tales mentioned only that the Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3 version of the game would feature online co-operative play.

This is why you shouldn't get it for the Wii.

Lol Lego Batman. I don't see why they make Lego games in the first place, I've never played them. Do you like build people or something?
