More "Information" about Duke Nukem Forever

Deathman48 | February 22, 2008 | News | PC
Apparently there was more than meets the eye to the Dallas Business Journal article on Duke Nukem Forever, which you only saw if you were a subscriber on their website. Duke4.net has obtained some of that info, as well as collaborating the main points of the existing information from that article if you got lost in all the accusation throwing that was done. Take it all with a pinch of salt mind you, but everyone should be doing that about any information released about this game.
- Scott jokes about Duke dying in the end, and goes on to say most of the weapons from Duke3D are back in DNF. Also, Duke is still a controversial character because the company is trying to retain his bad-ass image.

- Scott admits the project's come along roughly, but once again uses his "end of the tunnel" metaphor to say the game might finally be on the right track. 2008, here we come.

Don't forget that there's actually been demos shown at E3 in 2 previous years and they never made it to production.

I think everyone's just hoping it's for real this time so we can find a new winner for Vapourware awards.

Sweet. Here's hoping for an '08 release date. Haha, I remember the PS Duke Nukem game, the VS mode was hilarious with RPGs and such. xD

Haha, I don't think anyone's holding their breath for a "Duke Nukem Forever 2" or anything like that, I know companies often plan for future games but I'd be amazed if 3DRealms are even considering ideas for future Duke games right now.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think Forever is coming out in like...forever. 3D Realms is working on a new game called "Earth No More" in which I posted an article about a long time ago, unless 3D Realms has different divisions, Forever may not be coming out till 2010.
