Activision has announced that Call of Duty 5 is in the works for Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Wii and PS2. We could also be seeing two new Guitar Hero titles this year, along with another title for Tony Hawks and a new James Bond game set to accompany the new movie coming out in Autumn. A sequel for Marvel Ultimate Alliance and a new Spider Man game have also been mentioned, although there aren't many details for these games yet.
Given the huge success of the Call of Duty, Guitar Hero and Spider-Man games it's no shock to hear Activision discussing new titles in each franchise.
There's no game specific info right now, but a new Call of Duty title is currently in development for Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Wii and PS2 - presumably Call of Duty 5 developed by Treyarch for a winter 2008 release.
Although outsold by Call of Duty 4, Guitar Hero III generated more money and perhaps as a result of this will see two titles released this year, one in July and another in the autumn.
Despite being outsold 2-to-1 by EA's Skate, Activision is sticking with the Tony Hawk franchise only this time development will focus on innovation and pay serious attention to customer feedback.
Coming in the publisher's fiscal 2009 (April 2008-March 2009) is a sequel to Ultimate Alliance and a new game featuring Spider-Man. Also due this year is the new Bond game, scheduled to arrive alongside the new movie in the autumn.
Activision isn't forgetting the lucrative kids' market either, with games based on Kung Fu Panda and Madagascar 2 on the way.

What do they have left to give?
It's pretty bad that sites are reporting news that is over 2 months old now. Worse yet is that it's being posted here as a new finding.
Vivendi and Activision already revealed the news on the new titles during the merger disclosure, I mean that dates back all the way to the start of December.
I'm looking forward to 09 for COD, hopefully Infinity Ward can turn it up and bring some good entertainment to gamers. I have a strange feeling that COD5 will end up closely reflecting what we already saw in 3, if they skip the PC platform again I wont have to worry about the horror stories to emerge.
How December 3rd, 2007 comes after February 8th 2008 in your mind is beyond me.
Psyched about the MUA:2 game, though. The first one was superb, imo. Sorry...comic junkie, heh.
The rest of the news isn't really news.
I'm definatly excited.
