Nintendo Power - Huge RPG Revealed Next Month

TwilightPrince | January 12, 2008 | News | Wii DS Company
In the back section of the latest Nintendo Power magazine, (the section that previews the next issue) you will find a surprise.

A short blurb tells us to expect a huge game announcement in the next issue. More specifically, a huge, epic, RPG announcement. Guesses anyone?
Next month's cover story is an RPG so fantastic, so engrossing, so epic, and so hush-hush that we’d have to erase your memories if we told you what it is. In fact, maybe we already did. Role-playing fans, get ready for a big one.

I bet you anything it's Orb. Unless that's an adventure game. But if it has a turn-based battle system, I'm there.

Orb huh? I have been waiting for new info on that one. Although I think the makers of it have turned attention to Thorn though.

Maybe it's something we don't know about.

The RPGs we know about are Baroque (hitting in February), Tales of Symphonia: KoR, Dragon Quest IX, plus some others.

It could be a Monolith Soft project.

Wawa, gimmie gimmie. Seriously; That game is awesome .

Anyways; It sounds like it will be a new game (As in; Not been announced yet). If it is about DQ IX I will be so majorly mad.

Edit; Maybe it is that Capucine game?

Am I the only one whose NP says that it is the Sonic RPG for DS made by Bioware?

The thing is, this 'huge RPG' bit is in the preview from the issue with Sonic RPG on it, so it can't be Sonic RPG.

I suppose it would help if February's issue had arrived at my house wouldn't it?

I say paper mario 3. The first was a nirvanna, and the second lived up to the name of the first. If it is, than this would get me even more excited than brawl, paper mario was just that damn engrossing.

I have a feel we're all in for an upset with this... I don't know why. There are some good 'suggestions' in here of what it might be, and I would like to see more than half of them get made, but I doubt it's any one of those, unfortunately.

Well if they don't mean the Sonic RPG (which looks fantastic anyway), I'll welcome a new Paper Mario game with open arms. Absolutely love the Paper Mario games, and yet another would mean yet another awesome game.

If not that.. Golden Sun 3 PLEASE!
