Killzone 2 beta to surface in '08

PSU.com spoke with SCEA's Alex Armour about the situation with Killzone 2's multiplayer beta. According to PSU, the Killzone beta has been moved to next year, and they estimate that the game will release sometime mid to late 08.

PSU.com contacted SCEA's Alex Armour to get an update on the situation.

"We are hoping to do a beta but I don't think we'll have anything ready before this year is over... it is something we are working on for next year," he wrote.

This quashes earlier rumors which suggested that it would indeed be available in time for the holidays. However, he prompted us to "keep in touch [as] we'll have more soon."

Well it sucks that the beta is moved to next year but i can't wait to get the game though.

    Because Beta's are unstable and this game has been in development long enough to where it should be ready for a stable demo release. That's why.

      Halo 3 beta's wasn't unstable. True there could be a demo, but maybe its like what Linkin park fan said, to test the servers.

Damn the game got pushed back a little. But I guess this gives me time to play LBP. if that doesn't get delayed too...

The beta could be released to test the servers.
