I reckon it's to fix the PSN connection problems a lot of us have been having since installing 2.0.

Lol, 'a lot of us' have had unstable connections since an update AGES ago >_>

Perhaps it has gotten worse for some, since 2.0 then?

I'm so impressed with how well Sony is keeping up on fixing bugs and the like. Sure, you might argue they shouldn't have bugs in the first place, but bugs are a given in any kind of software and it's great to see them actively updating and fixing them.

Very nice hopefully the bugs will get shorted out, i haven't exactly had a consistent amount of problems signing in but sometimes my system does freeze since downloading it.

Oh and before anyone starts now don't even start the In-game XMB crap, it will come when the times is right. And the fact the devs should have added it in by now.

Good to hear, since I have been having a good few problems in speed since the last update when being on the menu it might be nice to see it all go away xD

Yea, but this update likely won't have any new features, its just fixing the problems some people encountered with 2.0.
And seeing as it's for fixing a bug, they want to release ASAP.

This should fix all of my problems, right?

What is XMB? I've heard of it several times, and it seems to be very un-important.

It was first made for the PSX (the one released in Japan that never made it worlwide) and then went onto PSP, then PS3.

I don't know if people have noticed, but updates that are listed as #.#X (where X is what is being changed) - It is generally just bug fixes, the additional features are added whenever the #.X is changed...2.0, after all, is just cycling that decimal place over, and though it is a milestone worthy of more additional features than usual, it is just the second decimal place cycling over back to zero...
