New Parental Controls on Xbox 360

timberwolf120 | November 08, 2007 | News | XBOX 360
Microsoft is adding a timer control so that parents can limit the time their children spend playing on the Xbox 360.

They claim that 90% of the parents placed a time constriction. I think this research was the 20 city bus tour that was mentioned in the article. I wonder if the percentage would drop because there isn't a Microsoft representative helping out the parents figure out how to use it.

    Sounds cool.
I'm not going to use it myself, but the more feature's it has the better.

I can see how this can be useful. I know with my family friend, they don't want their kids playing too much. It is hard for them to monitor this because they are at work while the kids come home from school at 3.

Well this update would have been great a week ago when that kid punch his mother. Also How would parents know how to use the system anyway. If there not gamers they would be confused. Sounds weird.

It's not as if they have to kill a boss before the settings are applied or anything...
