Impressive early Halo 3 online stats revealed

Staggering early stats of the popularity of Halo 3 online and such have been released, including comparisons with Halo 2's first day online matches. 2.4 million online matches on day one!
One million gamers connected to the Xbox LIVE online gaming service in the first day, making it the most active day in Xbox LIVE history. Halo 2 logged 690,000 multiplayer games on day one – Halo 3 logged 2.4 million games on day one. There were 2.5 million campaign levels played around the world in the first 24 hours.

    I expect that half of the 2.1 million gamers who bought this are disappointed about the bad packaging for the most pre-ordered game on record...

    if they're playing then its not in the package, it doesn't matter people can just buy a separate case, i just bummed a rental case for $10 at blockbuster. my copy hasn't left the system since midnight of monday anyway.
