Just to note, a director of the game was playing it for the audience as Itigaki gave the presentation.

Apparently, it's relatively early in development for what was shown. IGN apparently creamed themselves when watching the gameplay.

Ok so who said it was exclusive. Maybe its going to be a timed exclusive or they will be making a better version for the PS3.

      GOOD JOB READING.

Here's the thing, all a publisher does is pay for the game to be made. Now unless Team Ninja signed something that said Microsoft was going to be their publisher and also make it an exclusive couldn't SCEA come to Team Ninja and pay them to publish the game on the PS3 as well?

Or is it just assumed that since they're publishing it, it's exclusive?

There's meaning behind the fact that Tecmo isn't publishing the game.

Consider it the same thing as when Gears of War was made. Microsoft published the game instead of Epic(which normally does that themselves), and had an exclusivity deal. Same thing with Team Ninja/Tecmo and Microsoft this time around.

Gears is also coming to the PC though, it was intended as a PC game before it ever became a 360 game afterall.

Either way I'm disappointed. Sigma on the PS3 is *bleep*ing phenomenal and looking at the visuals here on display they don't look nearly as good. I mean of course it's still in it's very early stages but I'm underwhelmed with the detail in Ryu, particularly his skin, it looks really bad and I don't think they would need to do anything except port over the model the used from Sigma so I don't understand the reasoning for this.

It's going to the PC, yeah, because Microsoft published it. Duh.

It's basically, as I said, the same case. Microsoft payed for the deal, they're paying for it to be made, PS3 chances=nonexistant. This generation for Sony has been more about pushing a disc format than gaming.

And if MS cared they would have made a better working console from the start. Tenken I disagree with your statement. Sony cares for games which is why Lair and HS will be beasts on the PS3 and push sales. not to mention Rachet and Clank and Little Big Planet. Those games will rock.

I'm a bit surprised Tecmo isn't publishing this, especially since Team Ninja is one of their subsidiaries and they tend to publish their own games. Microsoft must've shelled out quite a lot of money for it, or just offered a lot of financial support. Either way, Microsoft have another big exclusive on their hands here, and I sure as hell plan to buy it.

Even till They might make a different game for PS3 like NGS-2 which could be spectacular. I agree with Volacide here, kinda disappointed that this game won't be multi. The money and sales from NGS proves that it can be spectacular on the PS3 as well as 360. I hope they do make a different NG game for PS3 as an exclusive.

The thing is, Sigma wasn't a different game at all. It was just another rehash.

Lair and HS can't help the PS3. Apparently, Lair's not doing so well in the reviews, and HS is so short that even volacide can stack up against it.

Correction Its a revamped better version than NGB, NGS is by far the better than NGB. And you know thats fact.

Lair and HS can't help the ps3 alone yes but it will help, Lair reviews are bashed off biased reviewers. Don't you read Tenken.

I wouldn't be surprised if they make an update PS4 version, like they did with the last Ninja Gaiden game for PS3.

I doubt it, you won't see PS4 until late 2013 to early 2014.

2011/2012... The PS3 is a 10 year console though it will be suceeded in 5/6 just like the PS2 was.

No you know why its cause PS2 was around 6 years b4 ps3 came in same with PS1 add another six years to when this system was released and you get 2013 and 2014 year. Im not basing it off the 10 year thing.

I thought they already announced it was excluisive?

Anyway You never know the release date is a long way away and many things may change in that time

You could consider this to be 2nd party. Like Gears of War, it's made by one company(Epic for Gears, Team Ninja/Tecmo for NG2) but it's published by Microsoft. Essentially, M$ is footing the bill for the game to be made.

Correction this game is going to be published by techmo here is the proof, here

        quote
Among the other games previewed was "Ninja Gaiden 2," a bloody role-playing game in which main-character Ryu Hayabusa slashes his way through a quest to save the human race. The game, which will be published by Tecmo Ltd., is a sequel to a title published for the Xbox and will be an exclusive title for the Xbox 360.
        So please change that statement.

Gamepro article. ONE article compared to the many others that state otherwise. Microsoft itself even came out and said they were publishing it.

          Nice try.
