CONFIRMED: Wii Zapper to ship with Link's Crossbow Training

FidoDido | September 10, 2007 | News | Wii
It's official Nintendo's new Wii Zapper will ship to stores with "Link's Crossbow Training", a guide to the Zapper starring Nintendo's adventuring elf in a Twilight Princess-style world.
Things have been fairly subdued on the Wii Zapper front since the device was shown off at E3 in July, but news of a release date in North America just landed in the GamerSquad mailbox - November 19 is the date to mark in your diaries. As previously announced, it’ll cost US gamers $19.99 (£10 / €15).

However, while dates and prices are sorta interesting, they’re not as interesting as new Zelda games, right? Right. Well, here’s something: the Zapper will also come with a new Zelda title bundled in! OK, we’re stretching the truth a little there, as "Link's Crossbow Training" probably isn’t most people’s ideas of a traditional Zelda experience. But it’s got Link in, not to mention a world "in the style of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess," so that’ll do for us.

I don't think this is very necessary, but if the reviews are good, I guess I'll check it out.

what's with the zapper? can't you just hold it in that kind of position yourself? Put the wii mote in front of the nunchuck...????

Of course you could, but then how would Nintendo get your money that way?

The Zelda training game sounds cool.

I'll probably pick it up for only $20.

Well it looks like a futuristic gun laser, however shouldn't this be better off with a Shooter game. I mean Twilight princes doesn't sound like a shooter.
