Sony Defense Force At It Again - Lair is a 10/10

The Sony Defense Force website is at it again and has writting a two paragraph review of the game Lair. What is stunning is how much praise they heap on the game. I had to wonder it they loved Lair this much, how could they hate Bioshock.

I guess I just feel that there should be more substance to a review than just kissing up to it and the platform that it is on just because you are die-hard supporters. Maybe they really liked the game, but to be honest, I have a hard time trusting a site that is so blatently pro PS architecture, and that gave Bioshock a 5/10.

I haven't played Lair myself (or even own a PS3 at time of writing) so I can't comment on the game itself. For all the musing over the value of scoring games in reviews w/o a standard criteria, the folks at SDF were probably having some fun with it all by giving it a STUPENDOUS 10/10 review. Complete with lines like this:

It's fine if you really like the game IMO, but the review sounds so over the top!

  I think Its fine, i mean they have played the game and understand the game to its fullest they would know how awesome it is. And it could perhaps be the next Mario 64, im thinking of getting this game. No doubt its going to be awesome

BioShock gets a 9/10 so far from me and I'm early through the game, and I hear it get's a lot better. And if this is all true...

Even though I think LAIR has been getting rather unfair grades, it sure as *bleep* doesn't deserve anywhere near a 10/10.

hahahaha. Don't you guys know SDF is supposed to be a parody? They're not serious. 10/10 for Lair and 5/10 for Bioshock should be enough for you to laugh at. Not get all fussy about how biased they are. SDF is Joking.!

  Good point. But you do know there are several 360 games that get perfect reviews which don't deserve it. Like bioshock. I mean its a good game but still shouldn't be 10/10

If a game is 10/10, it means its perfect. Everyone can enjoy and has no flaws. Which is historicaly impossible.

I say, LAIR doesn't deserve a rating near 10, maybe a 7.5 should be it.

Bioshock should get a 8/10 IMO.

I agree that Bioshock doesn't deserve 10/10. It like Grand Theft Auto. Its hyped for months and when people actually touch it they instantly go into the frame of mind where there mind presumes everyone else likes it so they should as well as well as ignoring faults which you would normally notice

And while Lair doesn't deserve 10/10 from my experience of it it easily deserves a 7/10 or 8/10

I guess you guys missed what FRoGBuster just said, there joking, there just saying that the game is so awesome it owns but in a non serious way. My guess its a backlash at the lair biased critics and Bioshock biased critics. I can't believe some fell for it.
