Crysis For Playstation 3? Evidence Revealed.

Oldmike of the Playstation 3 Forum reportably went to GameStop and took a couple pictures that show possible box art for Crysis on the Playstation 3. When he asked about it, the manager of the shop overheard and yelled at the employee that it shouldn't be on the shelves yet. Whether this is another fake or not we do not know but very interesting none the less.

Oldmike, a user on the PlayStation 3 official forum, has posted a couple of photographs which, he believes, indicates that a PS3 version of Crysis is on its way. There's a fun wee story that goes along with the photos, too. Whilst in a local Gamestop oldmike spotted a PS3 box with some Crysis promo art on it. When he asked about it the manager overheard and, after getting flustered, yelled at the shop assistant that they shouldn't be on the shop floor yet. Alledgedly.

An intriguing story, with interesting photos attached. We're still not convinced, however. Shops do crazy stuff all the time (HMV, anyone?). We love the idea that Crysis might be coming in the future, but until official word comes from Crytek then we're going to remain skeptical.

That seems like a lot of work for a store owner or someone to go to unless it was just some kid who walked into the store and acted like it was there when he made it and brought it with him.

Otherwise I'd say it sounds very possible.

I think its a fake. I mean at my gamestop they have A game called "Pokemon Oh Znap" Obviously a joke.

Well I did write a article ealier about Crysis maybe coming to PS3, this goes a fair way to confirming it

There is no Playstation 3 written down the left side and no PS logo at the top left corner...

Don't know. Could be fake, could not. The cover looks really bland, unless it's just a promo. There is, however, a Blu-ray logo on the top.

Crytek has always denied working on a console port, I wouldn't count on it.

I would havard a guess that it was fake, it dont look to real though already stated it is a good bit of hassle.. hmmm. We will just have to wait and see.

How come there's just one? Wouldn't there be like a bunch on a shelf? When I see a picture of them all on a shelf I'll take it seriously.
