I use 100% of everything. Whats the point of spending money on something if your not going to use all of its features.
I too, use all the features on occasion (cept for HD-TV related features)
I use my PS2 as a DVD player at my dad's all the time, and before I got a PS3 and 360 I used it even more often...
How can only 30% be aware of it @_@ I research my game consoles before I actually buy them 0_o
The PS2 in my house is in my brothers bedroom, were as the DVD player is downstairs in the front room. I just prefer watching DVD's on a bigger screen and somewhere that I can get comfortable is all ^^
It is up to you to use it or not. If you have a DVD player already, you can use that. It's nice that the game consoles have that feture, but you aren't forced to used it
Inevitably, a systems usefulness comes down to the quality of games found on the system, not the extra bells and whistles it comes with.
Imho it's better to use your DVD for DVD watching because it's just a player. If you use the DVD ability in your console, your 'console-life' is decreasing.
