The original version of Chrono Trigger had it's fair share of alternate endings, but that doesn't mean it doesn't need one more!
According to Square Enix there will be a brand new ending for the DS version of Chrono Trigger ...

Alternate closures in Chrono Trigger ranged vastly from a cat filled parade in Cronos honor to everyone turning into reptites. In addition to new dungeons and a monster arena, there is a brand new ending to find in the DS version of Chrono Trigger.
