E3 2008 Awards -- GamesRadar

Tyranitar24 | July 19, 2008 | News | Playstation 3 Wii E3 2008
Now that the gaming expo has concluded, GamesRadar has released their E3 2008 Awards. The awards include the worst moment (and the worstest) in E3 2008, the worst game, and a whole lot more!
Another year, another grueling E3 experience for all involved. As press, we have to be in constant motion, reading, writing and presenting all the information that's blasted at our eyes and ears. As readers, you're tasked with digesting an ocean of content in 72 constantly updated hours. It's a hell of a ride and we're glad to be at the end, especially given the rather dismal nature of this year's show.

We could all agree that the wii is for more of the casual crowd right?.. So why would Msoft, who is more towards the hardcore gamer want to copy miis?? Cant be 4 sales considering the wii even with its impressive hardware sales gets no 3rd party love.. You'd figure they copy Sony with home then a kids toy..

Because they're trying to break into the casual market for the mass amounts of soccer mom dollars.

All these best and worsts of E3 articles are really annoying. People can complain that there wasn't enough content for the hardcore gamers -- those people are usually the ones who didn't take note of the 129380293 other companies who had content hidden in their meeting rooms, not in conferences for an audience of 110838203. It's really unfair (mismatched, if you will) to be comparing games from the "casual" or "non-traditional" category with things like Gears of War II or FF XIII.

And seriously, people need to quit bashing on the Wii. After everything that's been going on, all the news surrounding Nintendo waay before E3, how can fanboys or ANYONE be surprised by Nintendo's performance? Suck it up already.
