Bungie couldn't make it to E3 due to some changes in their schedule and now we have some details on what Bungie was going to show. They were going to show a one minute “knock’em down" trailer to end the media part of Microsoft's press conference. After that, Bungie was going to show off the game on Wednesday.
Today, details are coming in about what Bungie intended to reveal at Microsoft’s E3 press conference. While specific information about its upcoming Halo project remain a secret, the developer reportedly planned to show a sixty second “knock’em down” teaser trailer, only to have it pulled at the last minute.

I don't understand how Bungie have managed to retain the hype around their, in my opinion, highly anticlimactic Halo 3.

Since they created Halo, They have amazing community support, ask anyone who is involved.

Every weekend they add a new play list, and they do special play list for holidays, Double XP weekends, They actually listen to feed back and constantly change elements of the game, In fact just recently they changed the layout of one of the maps because alot of people complained.
