Though the stuff not showing up really confused me. Halo brushed under the rug and then quietly mentioned in one small interview, a very quick mention of Pikmin 3, announcements of a new Zelda but nothing to back it up, a super awesome PS3 exclusive that they won't tell anyone about? Man the executives are weird
Fallout 3? Gears 2? FFXIII? HAWX? EndWar? How was this E3 bad?

This E3 was great. The only people who were pissed were PS3 owners who lost one of their biggest exclusive titles.
Now I desperately want to buy Fallout 3, Resident Evil 5 (Co-Op? Holy shit! The other RE's were awesome, but this one blows them out of the water!), Fable 2 (while they basically wasted Microsoft's time at E3 revealing facts we already knew, I still want to get this game), and, of course, no doubt about it, Gears of War 2. So, I don't see what was so bad about E3 '08...
As for FFXIII? I'm a PS3 owner since recently, and I don't care much. FF Versus XIII clearly looks like the better game so far, and that one will almost definitely stay an exclusive. Besides, God of War III is comin' as well.
... though there was a hell of a lot of awful moments to wade through before finding the good stuff. >_>
NEIN, I say, NEEEEEEEIN!!!!
That said, Vegi's right about the appointments and meeting rooms -- they had all the yummy goodies, not the huge publicized conferences.
