Nintendo E3 Impressions

paulhunter | July 15, 2008 | News | Wii
NextGen Player writer, Andrew Shin, gives his impressions on Nintendo's E3 press conference including: Shaun White's Snowboarding, Animal Crossing City Folk, Star Wars The Clone Wars, Wii Music, and much more.
Engage, Enrich and Enthuse. That was the overall theme and message that Nintendo delivered during its media conference. The 3Es at E3...ahhh, how clever Nintendo. Did they do a successful job delivering this message? I think so.

So what's on the horizon for Nintendo Wii and DS gamers?

Let's begin with the Wii.

It was the best show of the three although I must say that Microsoft Kept it rather close this year, Too many music games from microsoft. Nintendo did well a was a little disappointed at the start when I saw Snowboarding as their kick off but it ended very well

There was a Zelda game announced, and the Metroid Prime series just ended, give Nintendo time.

I don't know about that... I didn't buy a Wii expecting to have to give Nintendo a year off. They need to do something. Hire more people. New IP, or maybe bring back a classic.

Wii motion plus seemed really good though. They failed to impress me with anything though. Only thing I'll buy is Animal Crossing.

Well, we "hardcore" Nintendo fans still have 3 potentially M rated games to look forward to.

Since when is the notion of "hardcore" games attached solely to those with an "M" rating?
