During Nintendo's E3 2008 Press Conference, Reggie Filsaime, the president of Nintendo, revealed that Pokemon has increased DS sales by 12%! After that stat was revealed, so was the sequel to the first Pokemon Ranger for the DS. Japan already has this game and over there, the game is called Pokemon Ranger: Batonnage. The U.S. name of the game will be called Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia and will be released on November 10th for the DS.
At Nintendo's Kodak Theater Media Briefing this morning, the company praised the continued success of the Pokemon brand. President Reggie Fils-Aime declared that so far in 2008, the franchise has helped to push DS sales up to over 12% ahead of last year's record. And to continue that success, the next installment in the series was announced – Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia.

We don't need another spin-off. They should have given us some info on Pokemon Platinum instead.

I dont liked pokemon ranger, its too boring, cant capture for battle, only use to help people, and you pick the legendary pokemons only for missions and release them.
