Yakuza 3 announced and exclusive to the PS3

2chan claims that Famistu has quoted Toshihiro Nagoshi, Yakuza series director, as announcing the fourth game in the Yakuza series titled simply Yakuza 3.
No release date or details have been announced yet.
According to 2chan, the latest issue of Famitsu quotes Yakuza series director Toshihiro Nagoshi as stating that the game is a direct sequel to Yakuza 2, and is in development exclusively for PS3. In the same article, Nagoshi states that Ryu ga Gotoku Kenzan! is actually considered a spin-off from the "main" Ryu ga Gotoku series.

    First, it seems more like a rumor. Second, we're probably looking at an exclusive Japan release.

    Yeah I agree, it does sound like a rumour. I do hope it's not exclusive to Japan though :/
