I'm pretty sure D3 will keep its' PC exclusitivity, which I think is fine. I have one of the copies of the original for Playstation and it's so much more difficult to play with a controller. You'd absolutely have to have a mouse and a keyboard to enjoy it as much.
Another problem is limitations with consoles. With any given console, the game can only perform within the limitations of the console. PCs are virtually endless with their capabilities, provided to have the power to back it all.
I'd love to play with my friend, who will no doubt purchase this on his PC.
I highly doubt that Diablo III will be coming out for the 360. As mentioned in these comments people would need to go through Battle.net and Microsoft would not look so kindly onto that seeing how they have XBOX Live and all. Not only that but PC users with a mouse/keyboard combo have an advantage over someone with a controller.
Pit someone in any FPS game on a console versus a PC user. Majority of the time the PC user will win. This is why games aren't cross platform interactable.
It worked pretty good though.
People would do nothing but bitch about the console versions.
