Xbox And Playstation Battle To Win Online

Coltrain | June 25, 2008 | News | Playstation 3 XBOX 360
Sony has recently attempted to vamp up it's online service, adding subscription based content to the PSN. Microsoft have responded by taking on content from one of the big hitters in online gaming news, IGN.
At the moment IGN Strategize will offer hints and tips to games. The question that raises it's head is "where will Microsoft take this?" Will there be beta and other exclusives for Gold members? Will there be other websites to contribute content (cough Gamerchip cough)?

Nobody can possibly 'lose' this war, unless they somehow manage to force the other to close-down through lack of usage. That isn't going to happen.

I never even use IGN. What kind of content we talking about, because Qore offering early betas seems like significant competition.
